John Constantine- Paul Bettany

He’s certainly better than Keanu Reeves… although pretty much everybody is. Constantine is rough and badass. He’s not some pretty blonde boy, he’s crude and harsh. Bettany is a good actor and he mostly looks the part, he just needs longer hair.

Sean’s attracted a reputation for all of his characters dying all the time. I thought let’s switch things up and cast him as the man who never dies.

Someone on the internet suggested him for Lucien and I though well, you’re slightly too creepy for Lucien but with the receding hairline and the glasses, you could be Alex Burgess.

Cain- Sacha Baron Cohen

I know this seems a little unorthodox but I was just thinking how funny Cohen would make this role. He could take it to a place no other actor could and add a bit of comedic flair to Cain. Also Cohen can pretty much play any role and look like anyone anyway. It makes me reconsider casting Abel as someone with a more comedic background but I think I will finish casting everyone once before I go back and edit ones I’ve already done.

Lucien- Christopher Eccleston

I love Christopher Eccleston. I really do. I think he is so talented and so awesome. He’s tall and skinny like Lucien and both have very angular faces with prominent features.

I was just thinking, hmmm… Who is an actress who makes me what to slit my wrists or just always looks depressing? And then it hit me.

Lucifer- Cillian Murphy

I heard this suggestion a while back and i filed it away and kept looking for a different actor to play Lucifer but while I found some blonde, beautiful, androgynous actors, for some reason there just wasn’t this quality in them that Cillian possesses. He’s a damn talented actor which is a must as Lucifer is many things and a total badass and I don’t know, he just has this quality about him that works.

Jack- Andrew Garfield
Young, dark haired, attractive English guys are pretty easy to find and I like Andrew Garfield.

Thessaly- Majandra Delfino

I liked both Amanda Seyfred and Kat Dennings for this role and I couldn’t decide between them and then I see this actress who looks like a cross between the two so now I don’t have to choose.

Odin- Hugo Weaving

Because Hugo Weaving is a boss and Odin is a boss and Odin just demands attention and Hugo Weaving’s boss like qualities demand intention and Hugo Weaving should just be in everything because he is just so badass.

Destruction- Tom Hardy
I can’t really say what exactly it is that makes him right in my mind for this role. He just is. With Destruction, you have to find an actor who is really muscular but not so much so that it seems incorrect for him to be this sensitive, very non-destructive guy and you also need an actor who can play that role which isn’t everyone. I dunno for me, Tom Hardy just…works.

Eve- Amy Acker
Well, for one thing, Eve is skinny as hell and Amy Acker is too. For another, Eve is a mix of many things. She at points seems shy and very quiet but is also tough and quite strong. Amy Acker is a great actress and can play all sorts of characters and she has played roles like Eve’s before and done it extraordinarily.
