1) Season 1, Episode 6
The speech. The speech, the speech, the speech. That speech was a work of genius and so was this episode. I loved how it sort of showed you that the misfits were clearly not exactly the good guys as their enemy is just a girl trying to have teens be better and all that and yet you completely hate her. This episode is just a cut above. It is funnier, more interesting, more entertaining and just more everything. I also loved the fact that this episode was the start of Simon being called Barry. SAVE ME BARRY!

2) Season 2, Episode 3
This was the first episode I ever watched and I knew almost instantly this show was great. This episode was funny and very pivotal. When I went back and watched the rest of the series, Most of the spoilers came from this episode. It really advanced the plot in a very unpredictable way. (Well I would assume that, I can’t quite comment because again, this was my first episode.) This was a brilliant episode and a wonderful way for me to start the show.

3) Season 2, Episode 4
This episode was wonderfully hilarious with Simon sliding the case among the floor and epically failing and Nathan’s cover story for robbing a bank (the ol’ circle jerk) and super sad with superhoodie’s ending. That bit actually made me cry. It’s great how Misfits is a show that can make me laugh out loud one minute and then so soon afterwards have me in tears.

4) Season 2, Episode 7
This felt much more like the season finale than episode 6. This episode also made me laugh harder than any other episode due to Nathan’s line- “He’s got a point you know, back in Ireland if the priests weren’t fiddling with you, you were one of the ugly ones.” I thought Marnie was pretty funny and I liked seeing Simon beginning on the road to badassery. I thought the power dealer guy is an interesting development and the cliffhanger makes me very anxious for next season.

5) Season 2, Episode 1
This was a great season opener. I loved the new probation worker and right now all I see in my mind’s eye as I write this is Nathan’s dance to prove he wasn’t dead. He’s got sick moves :) This episode was a perfect reminder after a long break that Misfits was creepy, sexual, violent and hilarious.

6) Season 1, Episode 5
I really liked Simon in this episode I was glad that we sorta learned more about how he saw things and what part he played. This episode was the first time that I remember Misfits proving itself as not just a violent, funny sci-fi show but a show that actually made me laugh and cry and think. Just generally, Misfits is a well-rounded show and this episode helped me realize that.

7) Season 1, Episode 1
This was a pretty strong pilot. It was, funny and interesting and introduced the characters pretty well. The ending felt a bit rushed but this was an excellent starting point and things just went up from here

9) Season 1, Episode 3
This was a pretty good episode. It had pure mindless vandalism, a debate about bears and sharks and a great Bono impression.

10) Season 1, Episode 4
Curtis is my least favourite character and this episode had not nearly enough Nathan in it. Also, the Rolex Sweep was monumentally annoying but I think that was kind of the point

11) Season 2, Episode 5
This was just a bit of a filler episode. They were just coasting this week a little bit so while it was a good episode, it wasn’t spectacular.

12) Season 2, Episode 6
The tone was a bit muddled and at the end, the whole episode turned out to be essentially pointless. It felt really strange seeing all of them die and then when it was all undone, it felt a little bit cheap.

So I finished with Firefly and am moving onto Misfits. All in all, a brilliant show but not enough episodes. Anyways, once again ranking in order of worst to best and a small review to go along with it
13) Season 1, Episode 2
Episode 2 of a show is usually where they try and set the tone of the show and sometimes they take it a bit too far. Misfits was trying to establish itself as an inappropriate, funny, sexual show and it was just taken a bit over the top. It was mostly funny but it also scarred me for life. I think most people who have seen Misfits will know to which bit of this episode I am referring.
