Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman Fantasy Casting
Dream- Benedict Cumberbatch
There’s something almost otherworldly about Cumberbatch which is one of the reasons I think he’s perfect for Dream. He has the cheekbones that are Dream’s trademark and few other people do. He’s also a brilliant actor and tall and very skinny as Dream is. Dream always talks in this sort of script in the Sandman as well and Cumberbatch has a very fancy sounding voice so I think if he had speech bubbles of what he was saying, it would also be in script so there’s that. I think Cumberbatch could do a really good representation of Dream.
